I love taking long exposure photos at night. It gives me a moment to slow down and take in my surroundings. On this particular night I decided to visit a path on the edge of town that I used to go down every weekend on runs with my dad. I composed the shot and fired the shutter. To my amazement the Milky Way was just visible on the back of the camera, something I had not noticed in the sky with my naked eye. In post I wanted to accentuate the details in the sky as well as bring up the shadows in the foreground.
