The before image was shot with an infrared converted camera hence the odd coloring. To get the distinctive pink color I used the channel mixer and color balance tool to help bring the pink out more. I like creating images that are almost dream or fantasy-like and I feel using an infrared camera helps achieve that aesthetic. This was shot in Urbana, Illinois at their Japan House during a snow storm in the middle of march. I couldn't feel my hands at all after this shoot but I think the pain was worth it!
