Key Features
- 0.6 Optical Density
- Digital HT Multicoating
- Low-Profile Titanium Filter Ring
- ColorCore Technology
This 77mm Tiffen Graduated ND Digital HT Filter is a graduated neutral density filter that helps to specifically darken skies and other bright areas of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a feathered line between the density and clear areas. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 0.6 optical density provides a 2 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. This filter also features a rotating filter ring for flexibility when placing the density over specific areas of the scene.

How wide a lens can you use this on without vignetting? I have a Canon 16-35 f/4 - will the filter work with the lens set at 16mm (on full frame body)? Thanks.
I'm not sure, I don't have a full frame camera - this is a better question for the B / H staff .....

question
Can you use this filter on top of a Circular Polarizer?
Yes, you can attach this filter to a circular polarizer. However, with the polarizer you will be chewing up a lot of light, maybe 2-3 stops total. Also be aware of vignetting if using a wide angle lens. Hope this helps.

question
Whats the benefits of this over the non digital version for half the price? I notice the coating and titanium ring but my question is more about image/color quality.
This filter uses optical quality glass, is uncoated and uses an aluminum filter ring. The Digital HT version uses Water White (highest quality) glass, is multi-coated and uses a titanium coated ring. The mulit-coating makes the glass more scratch resistant, easier to clean and less chance of reflections. The HT filters meet or exceed military specifications as well. The difference in image color/quality will be tough to see when comparing the two, the difference is more in construction quality.
